White Night - 白の夜
白に溶けた世界を見ることができるのか
またその世界はどこに繋がっているのか
何か音があるとしたら、どんな音なのだろうか
円はそのものの存在の輪郭を模っていて
その外側は騒がしく
生物や植物たちの寝息が聞こえる
三日月が咲くようなとても静かな夜
暗闇はそれを隠して白い暗闇になる

〈白の夜に星をおく〉 / 生糸 / 2025
Can one see a world dissolved into white?
And where might that world lead?
If there were a sound, what kind would it be?
A circle traces the contour of a presence.
Beyond it, there is a restless stirring,
the breathing of living things and plants softly heard.
On a very quiet night, like a crescent moon in bloom,
the darkness conceals it, becoming a white darkness.

Beyond that hill,
multicolored fragments of stardust are scattered.
They are pieces of a small world,
holding the hues of a distant memory.
I take them in my hand
and gently place them down.
The light of day is too bright,
clear like the darkness of night.
It is like a long-forgotten sleep,
glowing softly within white.
